5 Summer Trends To Bring Into Fall

August, we meet again. This month is such a bittersweet time for me: summer is coming to an end and it’s time to soak up every last bit of white denim + banana leaf print we can. But before you store away all of your summer pieces, spare a thought for the 2017 Pre-Fall trends. You’ll find that not only will some of your summer styles still be acceptable, they’ll be downright fashionable. Looks like we don’t have to part with our vibrant summer wear just yet.
With the Pre-Fall collections officially on the floor, check out these 5 summer styles that will run right into the autumnal trends.

Fuchsia

Every year, fuchsia reigns as one of the summer’s most go-to accent colors. Ballerina pink and fuchsia, pale tangerine and fuchsia, turquoise and fuchsia… you get the picture. But usually, anything this vibrant is the first thing stowed away for the winter. Luckily, the summer’s ruling color pairing of fuchsia and scarlet are set to slip right into the fall.

Crop Raw Hemmed Denim

Denim is about as classically fall as you can get. So those fray hem cropped jeans you bought in July will still be a go for the next season. And bonus points if they’re embroidered!

Slip Dress

Looks like undergarments are no longer a faux pas. The silky, subtle curve-hugging slip dress is making its way through the entire year. Whether it flirts with your ankles or tests the ‘thighs’ the limit theory, this feminine yet understated dress does sexy in a sophisticated way. Throw it on with a fur wrap or leather jacket for the perfect fall night look.

The Mini Backpack

All I can say is, thank the LAWD. I’ve curated quite the collection over the last few months! The chic and easy accessory everyone is wearing is here to stay.

Mules

After surviving winter, spring, AND summer, the mule is proving to be the most trans-seasonal style of the year. Dress them up, dress them down, these slides aren’t going anywhere. PS they’d look great with those crop raw hemmed jeans or midi slip dress look!)
