R13 Shades of Grey Jeans

As I’m start to prepare my wardrobe into fall, I have discovered that grey jeans might be one of my favorite trends right now. While the “No white after Labor Day” Rule is no longer upheld in the fashion world like it once was, we still need a subtle alternative as we shift into fall. Edgier than blue jeans, but a little subtler than black jeans – grey jeans are the perfect transition piece. But before we can start throwing on oversized sweaters and booties, we must find a balance between the two seasons.
Pairing tops with grey jeans can be difficult so like I always say: when in doubt, wear white! With these adorable R13 grey skinny jeans, I wore a white Derek Lam top. The semi-distressed look of the jeans paired with the crisp Derek Lam piece made for the perfect contrast. From the ankle zippers to the stitching around the knee, this pair of R13 jeans is all in the details. On the other hand, the white top is all about sexy subtleties. The back of the top is all open as the fabric billows away from the skin.
I definitely wanted to make this more of a girl’s night out look, so I sassed up my accessories! And when it comes to sassy, no one does it better than Sophia Webster. These heels are sexy, classy, and chic all rolled up into one. The black leather lace-up detail with suede accents really stepped up this outfit.
What says GNO more than black leather and diamonds? This Valentino shoulder bag is simply to die for. Small sparkly studs line the front as flower shapes adorn the flap. The gold chain hardware pairs nicely with my delicate Lana Jewelry necklace and bold hoops. Naturally, I topped off this look with my Max Mara shades of the moment. GNO here I come!
