I’ll fill you in on a little fashion secret: the LBD that has so often trumped all other wardrobe essentials, now has a competitor – the Little White Dress. The LWD is simply adorable and surprisingly versatile! While the classic Little Black Dress will always be a fashionaholic staple, its counterpart is taking over as a summer go-to. Pair it with flat sandals and a jean jacket for a BBQ or slip on chunky wedges and statement jewelry for a sunset soirée, you can’t go wrong.
This white Isabel Marant sundress is darling and great for any summer occasion. The ruffle-tiered skirt and embroidered lace combined with the plunging neckline lined with more ruffles makes for a sweet and sexy summer look. To balance out the romantic style of the dress, I decided to wear my Chloe Gladiator Wedge Sandals I’ve featured in a previous post! Still not over this neoclassical sandal trend – they add the perfect amount of sass and personality to any outfit.
Since this look already had a lot going on, I needed only a few key accessories to top it off. For a purse, I opted for this gold Chanel Boy Bag. I thought the look could use one more texture to give it a little dimension and the snake skin detail was the perfect touch. I kept the jewelry fairly basic with Lana Jewelry thin Rose Gold Hoops, my Cartier Love Bangles, and a Hermes leather cuff.
