Alexandre Birman Boots+Boy Bags

Looking for that perfect outfit to wear when it isn’t too cold outside? Well, I have the perfect boot and boy bag combo for you – of course, with a ’70s flare! Layers are key in the winter, but during the transition period of getting hot to cold I have been gravitating to over-the-knee boots with chunky sweaters. Over-the-knee boots are seriously so hot right now, and can be seen all over the Fall/Winter runway. They are perfect in Chicago for when the weather can’t make up its mind. For this look, I wanted to show how you can still get away with wearing a skirt this season regardless of the temperature outside.

Let’s start with the boots! These Alexandre Birman knee-high navy blue suede fringe boots that go with skirts, skinnies, or leather leggings. I kept in the ’70s theme and wore this amazing Zara color block suede skirt, which is so comfortable and has the same shade of navy blue in it. I paired it with this extremely soft H&M knit sweater that can be worn with so many outfits in my closet. It is a go-to sweater of the season! H&M has such a wide selection of colors, textures, and styles available right now. You can never go wrong with investing in an over-sized knit. Finally, for the bag I wanted to add a pop of color so I wore this amazing Chanel Boy Bag in a soft shade of pink.
