All Black Everything

When I have one of those hectic mornings with the kids or just not feeling my best I turn to what I like to call the “all black everything” reserve section of my closet. My little kept secrets in times of crisis. I am able to transform a fashion emergency into a fashion must in under 10 seconds.

 I love how this purse can transition from day to evening wear and how it goes with a variety of outfits. I also have to mention these fabulous buckled boots I’m wearing. I can’t get over the leather braiding detail in the front and all the buckles. They’re definitely going to get a lot of wear this holiday season.

Black pieces are such a staple in every woman’s closet, you can’t go wrong in black. I found this great overside sweater and hat at H&M. There are subtle side zippers to this sweater to add a little something extra. What are some of your favorite black pieces?
