On Saturday I had the honor of being the Host Committee Chair for Bear Necessities Bear Tie Ball 2017 – and it was seriously a dream. Bear Necessities is a Pediatric Cancer Foundation that is dedicated to not only finding a cure to childhood cancer, but also helping kids to rediscover their childhood despite their health. This year’s theme was called ‘Xanadu’ and held at the Aragon Ballroom. Xanadu is a moving and electrifying tale of endless fun that lead guests on a magical journey to the creation of the world’s first roller disco in a 1980’s glitter explosion.
Needless to say, it was magical. I have never been so proud to be apart of something. For the occasion I wore a stunning Alyce Paris gown. And I am absolutely in LOVE with it. Let me start with the gorgeous beading on the top. The delicate intricacy of the silver embellishment made the entire dress. If it was acceptable to wear an evening gown everyday of the week, I would!
The event was such a beautiful affair. From entertainment by Ken Arlen Evolution Orchestra to the unbelievable decor – it was truly a night to remember.
