I have a new tradition- once a week I try out a restaurant that I haven’t been to yet and bring my friends to accompany me on my food journey. Last Thursday I was invited to have lunch at the New American restaurant –Bottlefork. My friend and I grabbed a table on the patio since the weather was cooperating but make sure you go inside to see an awesome interior. Very modern and chic yet the atmosphere is very relaxed. You don’t feel obliged to be dressed up and whether you are grabbing drinks with a date or coming in for a quick lunch after yoga you will feel comfortable in Bottlefork’s ambiance.
Since it was my first time at Bottlefork the restaurant I trusted the waitress and she essentially picked out all the items for us. For all the kale lovers – kale ceasar salad is a must-order! I also had a “Rich man po’ boy” – stuffed with lobster, foie and crispy oysters – delicioso! I loved the presentation of the food as well. Even a burger is served in an interesting way with a fork and a whole pickle on top “holding” the ingredients. And the best part of my lunch was dessert – creamy soft-serve sundae. I had a great experience at Bottlefork. There are a few other items on the menu that I am dying to try. Anyone is up for a lunch date? 🙂
