If there was a remake of “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” I bet the modern Holly would not be wearing long Givenchy gowns. She would wear a short Burberry dress, an Hermes belt and Louboutins. The signature big hat should definitely stay because vintage hats are always in style.
I wore this outfit to the office where these pictures were taken and then to dinner with my husband. That’s what I like about classic pieces like the dress I am wearing – it is easily transformed from a day to a night look. Put a bright lipstick on, add volume to your hair and you are ready for a night out. The dress is also timeless – I could pull it out from the closet 20 years from now and it will still look chic and fashionable.
