Casual chic

Hello loves! Have you refreshed your wardrobe for spring yet? I was looking through my closet and realized that 80% of clothes I own are dressy and I usually wear if I am going out. Everyone knows that you can transform a basic outfit to a chic one by throwing on a statement necklace, a pair of fabulous shoes, bright accessories, etc. But what do you do to tone it down? I say – go back to basics. For example a denim jacket worn over a dress will give you a casual but chic look. A beanie is also a good way to get that “I ran out of my house to get Starbucks” feel. Also keep it simple with the accessories. Since my clutch is already a bright pop of color, I decided to wear black boots and matching tights (that makes your legs look longer FYI).
Basic doesn’t mean boring. Leather sleeves pretty much gave new life to this classic denim jacket.
