I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas and is ready to prep for New Year’s Eve!
This year, I wanted to wear something different than a traditional gold, silver, or sequin dress. When I walked into CH Carolina Herrera, this beautiful emerald gown took my breath away. Green has become one of my favorite colors and the shade goes well with both brunettes and blondes. If you’re attending a formal NYE party you must check out the CH Carolina Herrera boutique on Oak Street. They’re having sales on not only gowns, but dresses for all occasions. Once your there, you won’t want to leave!

My hair was styled by Dream Dry, a new blowout boutique in Lincoln Park. The staff was very friendly and they are pros at updos. I chose a loose side braid and bun so as not to distract from the dramatic dress. The cherry on top for me was the beautiful jewels provided by celebrity jewelry designer Dana Rebecca. I wanted to keep to look whimsical and fun for NYE. Her thin cuffs with diamond accents and infinity rings in rose gold looked stunning with emerald.

The Langham Hotel was the perfect backdrop for this glammed up look. My photographer, Marcin Cymmer, did a fabulous job capturing Langham Hotel’s beautiful interior design. The stunning lobbies with towering ceilings and views of the Chicago River are the perfect place to ring in 2015!
