Cupid's Crunch Chex Mix Recipe


With Valentine’s Day less than a week away, I am like a real-life heart eyes emoji! The more pink and red heart-shaped things the better. Which is why I melted a little inside when I found this adorable recipe. Cupid’s Crunch Chex Mix – can it get any cuter than that?!
Not only is it ridiculously easy, but it’s a perfect DIY for kids. Loaded with Valentine’s Day M&M’s and Kasha Heart to Heart cereal pieces, Cupid’s Crunch is festive and heart healthy. Plus, pretzel sticks add the perfect amount of salty to this sweet mix. Whether you send them to school for your little one’s class or use it as a fun way to celebrate, I promise you’ll love this recipe.

Cupid’s Crunch Chex Mix

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 2 cups Kashi Heart to Heart cereal (or Cheerios)
  • 2 cups pretzel sticks
  • 2 and 1/2 cups M&M’s
  • 2 cups roasted peanuts (or popcorn if you have allergies!)
  • 4 cups white chocolate candy melts
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable or canola oil
  • 1/4 cup heart shaped sprinkles (or pink, red, and white sprinkles)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the Chex cereal, Kashi Heart to Heart, pretzels, peanuts, and M&M’s
  2. In a small bowl, mix oil and white chocolate and melt in the microwave on 50% power in 20 second increments, stirring between each time
  3. Pour the melted chocolate over the dry ingredients and carefully fold it all together
  4. Sprinkle heart-shaped sprinkles over mix, stir in gently
  5. Immediately spread mix out onto a wax paper-lined baking sheet to dry. Break apart into chunks and refrigerate until the chocolate has hardened
  6. Enjoy 🙂
