Deca Restaurant at the Ritz Carlton Four Seasons Hotel Chicago


Hi Dolls!!! I love love fashion but food goes hand in hand. I love trying new restaurants and different foods in Chicago. I think we live in one of the best food cities in the world. So…recently, I was invited to have lunch at the Deca Restaurant at the Ritz Carlton Hotel. It was an incredible experience….the outdoor lounge is so beautiful and eloquent. It was a perfect breezy day to eat outdoors.

Deca Salad with Romaine Lettuce, Aspargus, Avocado, Fennel Bread Crumbs and Parmegiano-Reggiano. What makes this salad extraordinary is the lemon truffle vinaigrette made fresh in-house. Everything tasted light and fresh, just what you want a lunch salad to be.
Roasted Beets and Shrimp with Banyuls Vinaigrette. It was my first time having Banyuls vinegar, which I learned is made from grapes grown in the French region of Banyuls-sur-Mer. Aged in oak barrels, it matures for over 5 years developing a tart tasting vinegar with a complex nutty flavor.
We started off with the Ahi Tuna, which is to die for. My photographer Olga had Wild Salmon with mustard Crust, Lentils de Pay, Sweet Garlic and Red Wine Jus.
Desert was the best part of the meal. They surprised us with the ultimate mixture of deserts on the menu. The deca-dent 10 layer chocolate cake was heaven for a chocolate lover like myself. And they top it off with even more chocolate frosting!
We walked out feeling full and satisfied. Thankfully, their location next to Michigan Avenue allowed us to shop off those calories!
