Getting' Crafty: DIY Patch Jacket

DIY JACKET: I love to shop at little boutiques to find vintage designer pieces I can re-vamp. Sometimes it’s fun to get a little crafty – especially on a rainy day! Adding unique trimmings can instantly elevate your look from drab to fab. It also makes your piece a one of a kind perfectly tailored to your personality!
I was feelin’ some type of way when I designed my funky DIY jacket and I couldn’t be more obsessed with how it turned out. I ordered some playful patches online and just sewed them on! If you aren’t great a sewing, just buy iron on patches. Super easy and quick!
Unfortunately, the rest of this look was store bought but I had just as much fun wearing it! I wanted the jacket to be the centerpiece of my outfit, so I paired it with a pair of Adrienne Goldsmith dark wash jeans and a classic black tank. While I usually like distressed denim, these skinny jeans are one of my favorites! Every girl needs a basic pair of dark denim in her wardrobe.
To bring out the little bit of pink in the patches, I wore my pink Metallic Chanel shoulder bag and multi-color snakeskin Christian Louboutins. The Chanel brings the perfect little bit of color to a darker color palette. But since it’s metallic, it stills stays in line with the edginess of the look.

Shop this look at the end of this post! ♥
