Every time I get invited to a great new restaurant opening I get very excited. As much as I love certain places in Chi there is always a chance that the new venue will become the next hot spot. Last week I visited the pre-opening party at Enolo – a wine bar on Clark & Illinois. And guess what – it totally made my list of top places this summer. The wine selection is amazing and the house made pasta with clams and shrimp will leave you asking for more. Start with brie, apples and fig spread bruschetta and try the charcuterie board. Oh so good!
I don’t usually wear jump suits but this one by Alexander Wang is just soooo comfortable and chic. Wear a bright silk blouse under, add a statement necklace and a snake clutch and you are ready for the party!
