Fashion tips to fight the cold

Hello ladies! On Monday the arctic chill hit Chicago and the mid-west one more time. I think it has been the coldest winter in the recent years. How are you fighting the brutal cold? I have learned over the years to stay stylish even in this arctic conditions. My accessory number one during winter is a nice warm hat. It is believed that you lose a large percentage of the body heat through your head so I always try cover it.

I always wear fur coats in winter. It is proved that real fur keeps heat better, but faux fur coats can still be pretty warm. What coats do you ladies choose to wear?

And last but not least – scarves and gloves. Not only they keep you warm but can literally change the whole outfit from casual to dressy and stylish. If you have essential basics in your wardrobe like nice fitted jeans, a couple of basic t-shirts and a cute jacket just keep playing with scarves and it will look like you are wearing a different outfit every time. And a little tip from my own experience – you can never go over the board with gloves. Try them in different bright colors and styles – hot pink, lace, beads, studs, animal print. Go crazy!
