HOOKED ON BLOWOUT JUNKIE – I recently visited Blowout Junkie, one of Chicago’s premiere blowout bars and wow am I ‘Hooked on Fabulous!’ I don’t know if it’s the shiny tousled aftermath or the luxury of having someone else do your primping, but there’s just something about a blowout that makes you feel ready to conquer anything. With some of beauty’s best hair products and most beloved Chicago stylists, Blowout Junkie has created a truly chic and energetic atmosphere. Whether you’re running in for a quick pre-work blow-dry or you and your girlfriend BYOB before a night on the town, this salon is affordable and chic!
From sleek + straight to retro polished waves, this salon’s Style Menu allows you to customize your blowout for any occasion. I opted for their Junkie Signature Blowout and it could not have been more perfect. For me, blowouts usually go one of two ways: leaving looking the same way I arrived or Dolly Parton on a humid day. But this salon was different! The extremely talented stylist used all Kérastase products (my favorite!) and just from getting to know me was able to style it exactly how I wanted it. With soft waves and just enough volume, I left Blowout Junkie feeling absolutely fabulous and confident!
