As Holly Golightly played by Audrey Hepburn in a famous movie once said: “What I found does the most good is just to get into a taxi and go to Tiffany’s. It calms me down right away. Nothing very bad could happen to you there”. That is exactly how I feel when I walk into Bergdorf Goodman on 5th Avenue in New York. I mean, really, you just feel so peaceful and calm wandering around the store, window shopping or grabbing a bite at BG Restaurant on the 7th floor. Do you, ladies, have a place like that?
I stopped by Bergdorf on my last day of the fashion week trip. After running around the city from show to show, numerous cab rides in a horrible traffic and ruined heels in snow and slush I just needed a minute to find my inner peace. LOL :) Because shopping is every woman’s meditation.
