My top places in Chicago: Pump Room

A few weeks ago when I was hosting out-of-town guests I made a list of “must visit” places in Chicago. It is easy with the sightseeing – any guide or website can give you a good description of “TOP 10 attractions” but when it comes to choosing a hotel or a dinner place you should trust real people who a regulars at the spots they recommend. One of my favorite restaurants/lounge bars in Chicago is a chic place located in the Public hotel called the “Pump Room“. I always tell all of my friends who come to Chicago to stop by for a dinner or brunch. First of all I love the decor. You can see from the pics below how beautiful the dining room is with the light fixtures. Even with its modern decor Pump Room still has that old Hollywood vibe. There are walls with black and white pictures of celebrities that visited Pump Room over the years. Of course, the food is amazing. Tuna tartare is to die for. And save room for desserts because they are absolutely delicious. Every time I go to the Pump Room I just know that I will always get an outstanding experience. If you are in Chi-city, shoot me a message and we can plan a dinner there! 🙂

P.S. Make reservations before you go. It is always soooo busy.
