NEW YORK FASHION WEEK: DAY ONE

NEW YORK FASHION WEEK: FIRST DAY OUTFIT –
New York Fashion Week was inspiring, beautiful, and chaotic in the most amazing way! Running from show, to show (in heels, of course) was unlike any of the previous years I have attended. The streets were buzzing in style as editors, tastemakers, and bloggers a like shuffled from one runway to the next. You could really see all the fall trends as the cooler weather draws closer, but nonetheless, we sprung forward to emerging spring trends. Some of my favorite upcoming trends you will be seeing next summer is the boho suede fringe. If you missed the Tommy Hilfiger runway – it encompasses Summer ’16 swimmingly. ’70s were also another trend that will not be going away anytime soon! Orange, mustard yellows, and A-Line silhouettes struck again. Pantone color of the new year, maybe?
With that, comes my first look from the week. The Wes Gordon Hyacinth printed silk chiffon pleated blouse embodies the complete ’70s. Plus, it was breathable and did not wrinkle as I was in-and-out of taxis. I paired the top with these Celine black casual trousers in a flare leg – again, very ’70s mod. For the accessories, I wanted a larger handbag to tote around all of my essentials, and shoes I knew I could walk miles in. The bag is my favorite Celine in black with a touch of fur, and Jimmy Choo black and navy Abel pointed toe pumps for a hint of glamour. Earrings were Dunno vintage, and most importantly the Dita  Bluebird sunglasses were a showstopper!
