New York Fashion Week'14 (Part 1)

This was my second time attending fashion week in New York and I think I am forever hooked. It is hard to describe the whole atmosphere during NYFW and all the inspiration you get from attending the shows. I want to thank all my readers and designers for a great opportunity to be a part of the fashion week and one of the first to view the fall-winter collections. This year I got invited to 12 shows and now since I am back to normal life in Chicago I have plenty of time to show you pics from the shows.

Alice+Olivia

“Alice and Olivia” always amazes me with beautiful feminine silhouettes and vintage prints and styles. But this collection is by far my favorite! The presentation itself was just a fairy tale come true. Literally. There was a Snow White laying in a pile of apples and a Rapunzel wearing a gorgeous emerald dress. And all the fur coats?? Yes, please!

Mara Hoffman

Mara Hoffman always brings me great memories of an amazing trip I took to Africa on my honey moon. How beautiful are these prints? And I love the black dress with sheer cutouts!

Being at a Concept Korea show is actually like being at 4, since you get to see 4 great Korean designers. They all have different concepts but are all united in their edginess of the eastern world.  The designs are so contemporaty and fashion forward. Those hats are amazing! Need one!concept korea
