NYFW Look #2: Chic in Chanel + Kobi Halperin

For my second NYFW look, I wanted to dress it down a little – keep it effortlessly cool and comfortable. After braving day one in heels, nothing sounded better than a pair of comfortable platforms. Running from one amazing show to the next, my little feet welcomed these Chanel oxford platforms with open arms. How Carrie Bradshaw managed to strut all over Manhattan in stilettos is beyond me, but I must say Kudos to SJP.
Since nothing says ‘cool’ like distressed denim, I started with my favorite pair of One Teaspoon jean shorts. They are so comfortable and they fit perfectly! To contrast the jean and keep the look sophisticated, I paired my shorts with this gorgeous Kobi Halperin cape.
I was so thrilled to have Kobi dress me for some of my looks at Fashion Week. I’m totally swooning over his collection. It is beautifully made with gorgeously crafted details and I simply can’t get enough! As we start getting into fall and winter, this cape is the perfect transitional piece. I loved wearing it for a casual-cool day time look but would also pair it with jeans, a funky heel and a blouse for an edgy night-out look.
