Petals & Prosecco

With flowers in our hair, drinks in our hands and a beautiful Chicago sunset behind us, Petals & Prosecco was a night to remember. The combination of flower crowns, a river front patio all to ourselves and a prosecco bar was simply all that was needed for another whimsical night at Pearl Tavern.
Surrounded by some amazing friends – new and old – from the blogger world, I had a lovely evening creating flower crowns with A Perfect Event’s very own, Debi Lilly. It was a perfect chance to relax and catch up on some girl time after a busy week.
Making the adorable flower crowns was such a blast and surprisingly therapeutic! Over chit-chat and laughter, we munched on small bites and sipped bubbly Prosecco garnished with YummPops Mint and Grapefruit Popsicles. If you haven’t tried putting an ice cold popsicle in your summer libation yet, you’re missing out! This insta-worthy dessert cocktail is absolutely a summer must.
Besides the opportunity to try something new, it gave me the perfect excuse to wear an outfit fit for a flower queen. To add a little more magic to the already enchanting night, I donned a purple silk dress with ruffle detail to match the night’s feminine and free-spirited feeling.
To mirror the floral crowns in our hair, I paired my ruffled ensemble with some amazing Sophia Webster neon shoes. The vibrant color palette + unique style make these shoes the perfect combo of chic and quirky. I simply adore these shoes and was thrilled I could finally show them off at Petals & Prosecco!
As the sun set, the night came to a picture perfect end with sparklers and cupcakes from Sugar Hills Bakery that were almost too pretty to eat – almost! I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening with wonderful friends!
