RED JACKET OPTIONAL GALA:
The Red Jacket Optional returns to Morgan Manufacturing in Chicago’s West Loop, celebrating the Chicago Children’s Choir‘s 59th year of shaping the lives of children through musical excellence. This is an amazing opportunity to dress up for a good cause! Morgan Manufacturing’s interior is very industrial and elegant, which makes me inspired to get glam from head to toe. This is CCC’s largest fundraiser, which supports more than 4,000 singers annually. I love supporting CCC and watching the children (and alumni) perform! Their energy is contagious and I cannot wait to see what this years gala has in store.
I wanted to share my outfit inspiration for the gala taking place this Friday, October 23rd. As I mentioned Morgan Manufacturing has an edgy, yet sophisticated, vibe. They simply scream trendy and I am pulling out all the stops! Pulling an Angelina with an over the top slip is completely acceptable.
 

Make a statement with an over-the-top cocktail dress with classic “So Kate” bold red sole Christian Louboutin suede pumps.  For the dress, this Zac Posen embroidered organza gown is out of this world. The structure will have you being the bella of the ball! Modest pinned back hair can make a statement, too!
 
 

 
I am all about the nail art these days! From the mani cams to the the makeup, this is just as vital when making a statement. To add a little feminine flare, this floral diamond bracelet ring, Runa Jewelry, is on my wish list! I love the pops of red in the outfit, but remember red is optional and does not have to be worn. I do, however, adore this Elie Saab sleeveless cardinal red dress. It is modern, elegant, and perfect for this occasion! Add edge with the accessories, or keep it timeless with an envelop clutch but always consider these stunning Aquazzura pumps.

It is all about the accessories for this evening! Mixing and matching textures and styles is the name of the game. Have fun with it! Do not be afraid to try those heels you have been hiding in the back of the closet.
