REDCARPET TO RUNWAY: EMMY'S BEST DRESSED

2015 Emmy Fashion Best Dressed:
Even though NYFW is behind us do not be discouraged, “Red Carpet Season” is here, and I have my top five best dressed Red carpet to Runway looks from this weekend Emmys! The 67^th annual Emmy Award premiered this past Sunday evening, and had over 11 million viewers tuned in. Like most of you, I had my popcorn and beverage in hand as I watched my favorite stars rock the red carpet. We saw several stunning looks that transcended from the runway to this years red carpet, and I wanted to highlight my absolute favorite ensembles.

First, Kerry Washington shines on wearing one of my favorite designers, Marc Jacobs. She is one that is always a favorite of mine when it comes to award season. This dress was actually worn 72 hours after it was seen on the Marc Jacob’s Runway!

Emma Roberts took my breath away in this pink champagne colored gown designed by Jenny Packham. As the new star of “Scream Queens”, this young star stood out amongst the Hollywood vets. I say mission accomplished! Her ivory skin and light blonde hair was the perfect complement to this classic look.

Heidi Klum ROCKED this Atelier Versace buoyantly yellow gown. Not only is her physique amazing, she always pulls of the most daring silhouettes and styles! I especially loved this canary yellow Versace Dress. The intricate detail and off the shoulder design worn by this model shows you how to truly transition runway to red carpet.

This is not your average “LBD”! Taraji. P Henson of Chicago’s own, Empire, looked smoldering in this sexy Alexander Wang dress. The sheer slit showing off Henson’s beautiful figure contrasted with the silver-chain straps creating an edgy look. Not to mention, her smoky eyes were on point!

Last but certainly not least, Claire Danes rocked one of my favorite Emmy looks when she arrived in this Prada dress. Not only did I love the unique color choice, but the heavy sequins proved Danes is certainly a fashion powerhouse. Claire called her floor-length gown, “rockstar-esque”. I won’t disagree –  she certainly rocked it!

 
That’s a wrap!  My five fav fashion looks from this year’s Emmy’s Red Carpet. It is always exciting to see celebrated actresses wear dresses from our favorite designers during red carpet season. Even though each look is completely transformed with accessories and their twist of beauty, each actress had one thing in common: they looked stunning from head to toe!
