Sweater Weather: 5 Fall Must-Haves

It seems like just yesterday I was basking in the city sun and sipping mimosas on the patio. However – I must admit after three months of doubling up on deodorant, I am welcoming of this cool down. So with Fall in full swing, it’s time to switch my threads from light and airy to warm and cozy.
Since the temperature can change drastically from sun up to sundown in the Fall, layering is an absolute must! And sweaters are the perfect solution to our brisk weather wardrobe problems. You can dress them up, down and sideways. While there are endless amounts of sweater options, these are my five Fall favorites!

Duster Cardigan

This is a must-have staple sweater in my wardrobe. From being a full-time momma to a full-time fashionista, I am always on the go. I can throw a duster cardigan over almost any outfit and it will look chic and keep me toasty!

Sweater Dress

The sweater dress is a fashion forward gal’s answer for staying stylish in the colder months. Pair the with a good pair of knee highs and you’ll be set for those crisp nights out on the town.

Oversized Sweater

A good chunky oversized sweater can be dressed down with your favorite sneakers and distressed jeans or made a little more fashionable with stiletto booties. Either way, it’s a great everyday piece that I always have hanging in my closet.

Turtleneck

The turtleneck is great go-to piece that says, “I’m sophisticated and stylish!” This look is great for layering, but also looks good as as stand alone garment.

Cropped Sweater

Just because the weather is chilly doesn’t mean your outfit has to resemble the Michelin Man. I still love to add a little sexiness to my wardrobe and this is where the cropped sweater comes in. It keeps me warm while still adding a bit of mystery.
