Tea Party Florals & Petit Fours

TEA PARTY FLORALS – Bold, vibrant, retro-inspired florals have stolen my heart as this summer’s favorite print and pattern trend. Saint Laurent played off of the runway’s romanticism trend with this elegant, but flirty Silk Georgette Dress. The playful combination of whimsical florals in effervescent colors takes you down the rabbit hole to a contemporary tea party in Wonderland!
But with a dress as fanciful as this, it’s important to pair it with the right accessories. This Hermes Kelly Cut Clutch in Rose Confetti is simply charming. The light pink leather plays off of the purple-boysenberry hue of the flowers, adding a fresh and lovely shade for summer.
For the shoes – I wanted something that would add an edgy flare without depleting my tea party-esque look. And these Sophia Webster Peep-Toe Sandals were sheer perfection. The open-toe faux-bootie with the stacked metallic rose gold balls for a heel is quirky, classy, and comfortable! This look would also pair nicely with a pair of ballet flats or sandals for a more day-to-day style. To finish it all off, I opted for Cartier Love Bangles, Hermès leather cuff, and over-sized Fendi sunglasses: understated with a little glam.
Whether it’s a garden soirée or high tea, this look is chic enough for an afternoon of scones, petit fours, and double-cheek kisses!
