I am still dreaming of my Puerta Vallarta vacation at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit. Crystal clear water, beautiful white sand beaches, and amazing weather – pretty sure this resort was heaven on Earth. My kids are already begging us to go back! If a hotel could have more than 5 stars, this one would get a 10. No joke. It left us speechless (and unbelievably relaxed). If you’re planning a vacay to Mexico anytime soon, you’ll want to read on!!

Finding a hotel that’s family friendly, luxurious, AND fun for the parents can be really hard to come by. And I am usually a little skeptical of all-inclusive resorts, but I can not stress enough how breathtaking the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit property is. They are single-handedly setting the bar HIGH for any other vacation we’ll ever go on. Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit is the whole package.
First of all, the service. Every single member of the staff we met was unbelievably kind and accommodating. It was insane. I don’t know if I’ve ever experienced such amazing service. Especially poolside. And the best part – every single family staying there had their own personal concierge. Talk about living the life! Your concierge catered to any need you had. Whether you needed medication or a shot of tequila, they hooked you UP. And don’t even get me started on the food. The resort had 5 restaurants on the property and each one was better than the next. On a lot of our vacations, our kids are usually pretty antsy and bored by the third day. There isn’t always much for them to do. But I can not even begin to describe how perfect the Grand Velas was for our kids. Every afternoon at the pool, there is a little mid-day entertainment for the kids. Hula-hoop contests, dance parties, fun games, you name it. They also have horse back riding and a little farm for them to play with tiny farm animals. And OMG, they LOVE it. Or if you need a quick break, you don’t need a sitter. You can drop your little ones off at the Kids Club or they can go right upstairs to the Teens Club to play video games, snacks, dance, and place games while you have a drink and relax right below the club. It’s extremely safe and so close to you!

So while the kiddos are away, the adults will play…. AKA time for the amenities. Holy crap. The spa. I thought my husband was going to have to come and find me in there. I never wanted to leave. Before you went in for your treatment, you went into a room with a waterfall – a WATERFALL – that filled up a hot rock hot tub. That alone was unbelievable and I hadn’t even had my massage yet. They has had a state of the art fitness center with every machine imaginable and the best classes.
We stayed in a Parlour Suite and it is a MUST for families. 1100 square feet of luxury and extremely comfortable beds!! Every night was a dream. I can not WAIT to go back!!!
