Valentine's Daytime Look

Happy Valentines Day my sweet friends! I hope you had beautiful day celebrating with the people you love most! Regardless if you had a sweetheart, I hope you took advantage of this special day to appreciate your loved ones. I met up with some of my close girlfriends for a quick gals lunch at Beatrix and had so much fun. Of course today wouldn’t be complete without a cute Valentine’s daytime look!
Although Chicago was blessed with sunshine, it was still fairly chilly. I threw on one of my favorite jackets by CHLOÉ . This not-so-classic, navy peacoat is the perfect layering piece. I love the statement the bell sleeves make. It is very military inspired with the studded button detail.
These dark wash Zara jeans have recently become a staple in my closet.  They are so comfortable, are definitely a go to piece for day or night looks. The slim fit of these jeans are incredibly flattering and the distressing at the knees gives the outfit a more edgy, fun feel.
I kept my look neutral, while incorporating pops of red to feel festive. I have worn this fur pom pom hat from York Furrier countless times, but I figured it was especially perfect for today. I am so happy to be reaching for my sunglasses again with all this beautiful weather! These cat eye sunnies are by Tom Ford and go with nearly everything.
Now onto the stars of this look: my bag and shoes! Today, I carried my CHLOÉ Faye shoulder bag. The leather is so buttery soft and is an ideal size if you like to carry quite a bit of essentials with you day to day. The caramel, toffee colors of this bag still take my breath away! I cannot wait to style spring and summer outfits with this classic piece from CHLOÉ.
Last, but certainly not least I pulled out a pair of Leopard Christian Louboutin heels. These leopard printed So Kate pumps are so sassy and romantic!
I hope you gained from inspiration from this look today! Sending all my love this Valentines!
