Winter White

Hello my Fashionistas! This fierce look was inspired by a white winter wonderland. I wore it to the Fashion Forward event at the Museum of Science and Industry. People try to say you can’t wear white after Labor Day, but I think that rule is so outdated. When done correctly winter white looks beautiful and really makes a statement when you enter holiday parties.
Three pointers to pulling off the look:
1. Wear different fabrics then you would in the summer  (stay away from linen and airy cottons and choose heavier fabrics like wool and denim)
2. Mix up different textures (pair pieces like silk blouses, tweed skirts, cable knit sweaters, and white pant suits together)
3. Add glitz to the outfit (glitz creates elegance, shine, bling, and a more luxurious rich look to the white ensemble)
This Celine fur jacket is my favorite piece to this outfit, it kept me warm and I loved the way it was cut. As a petite woman, I prefer my jackets to be cropped so they don’t look oversized. I added a bunch of chunky jewelry to add that glitz aspect to my outfit.
Show me your chic white winter outfits?
