Down to Business: Veronica Beard Blazer

I post a lot of formal and day looks, but I wanted to switch things up and share one of my favorite business casual looks. Every girl needs a chic blazer in her wardrobe. I’m not talking your typical structured suit coat. I mean one that you can wear to the office on casual Fridays and straight to drinks for happy hour.
Which is why I’m obsessed with this Veronica Beard houndstooth-esque blazer. It’s fitted to show off your curves, but you can also unbutton it for a looser, more relaxed fit. Since winter is swiftly approaching, I wore a fitted turtleneck underneath. But a white cotton v-neck would look just as clean and classy.
The blazer + jeans combo: the #girlboss dress code. This look says, “I’m a fashion junkie and style aficionado, but I’m also a motivated and kick*** business professional who doesn’t take no for an answer.” Basically #girlboss. I love the look of these distressed Zara skinny jeans with the blazer. The denim makes the navy in the houndstooth really pop.
Speaking of pop – THESE SHOES. Ladies, I am in love. This pair of MiuMiu tangerine lacquer block-heel loafers is fabulous. Not only are they the perfect bust of color you need in a rather neutral outfit, but they can be worn year round! The crystal cluster detailing provides the perfect amount of glamour for an office look.

Shop this look below, loves! ♥
