This year I had the pleasure of attending the 2015 Simply Stylist conference with the stunning Jennifer Worman from Redsolesandredwine. The morning started off with an amazing VIP breakfast at the beautiful Dana Hotel & Spa, and then went into a stylish discussion with the guest speaks. This year, the guest speakers included host Catt Sadler of the popular E! News, Corri McFadden, Jacey Duprie, Joey Maalouf, and Sazan Barzani. Each spoke on different business topics, and their insight on the pros and cons of the fashion and beauty industry. The day-long event left me feeling empowered, inspired, and motivated to put their words into action. I recommend attending this event for all of those in or looking to venture into this industry.
For my outfit, I wanted to keep it chic, professional, and still casual since I knew it was going to be a long day. I wore my favorite long black sleeveless blazer from Christian Dior with an edgy cotton white tee. I dressed it up with a statement necklace from Top Shop, and strappy white heels from Christian Louboutin. Ripped jean shorts tied it all together making this sophisticated, yet modest outfit come to life.
